Learn About Nature at the Preserve
Organized Bird Walks
Join experts on a walk through the preserve to identify birds by sight and sound. Bring your binoculars or borrow a set from us.
The Zeller Kiosk
The Zeller Kiosk at the parking lot contains informative displays about the preserve’s geology, birds, wildlife, and history.
Agent of Discovery
The Agent of Discovery smart-phone game helps kids learn while they are playing an on-line virtual reality game.
Science Sundays
Children and families can learn about nature with hands-on science projects at Science Sundays.
NATURE Center
Visit and learn the history of the preserve, the early ranches, and some of the people who pioneered the preserve.
School Programs
Docent-led educational programs are available by reservation for school groups. Reservations are required at least two weeks in advance. For more information, teachers should contact the Director.
